You will be safely guided into your nervous system through gentle yet powerful yoga practice. As you delve into your inner world, you will have the opportunity to compassionately explore and support various parts of you. You will learn simple somatic tools for self-regulation that you can integrate into your daily life. The aim is to slowly begin to rewire patterns in your nervous system that hold you back in life and to strengthen your overall mental and physical health. As you immerse yourself in embodiment practices, you will start to build a strong inner foundation while safely addressing stored stress and trauma in the body.
My intention is to guide you on your path to healing within a realm of loving-kindness. Weaving genuine connections between kindred souls, this sanctuary embraces the sacred interconnectedness of life.
You are welcome to join exactly as you are, whether you are a new or experienced yoga practitioner. My hope is that you will leave with a felt sense of safety and support, feeling inspired, grateful, and at peace.

LOCATION, FOOD & ACCOMMODATION
Shambala is an intimate yoga community and retreat center located in the dense forests of Bergslagen, two hours from Stockholm in Skinnskatteberg, Västmanland. Dedicated to community and yoga, Shambala's vision is to live harmoniously with nature. Surrounded by lush forests and a tranquil lake, it invites you to enjoy peaceful walks, refreshing swims and moments of reflection. A highlight is the floating sauna by the lake, offering a soothing experience.
The kitchen is inspired by the Indian Ayurvedic health tradition, serving delicious and nutritious food that is vegan, gluten-free and made primarily with organic ingredients. Meals are often enjoyed on the sunny deck overlooking the lake.
Shambala are happy to accommodate dietary allergies — please inform them when making your booking.
Non-alcoholic beverages accompany each meal.

The price for the retreat is 6 600-6 900 kr, depending on your choice of accommodation.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Organic yoga mats, blankets, bolsters and props are available on site. Participation in activities is optional. Shambala offers pickup and drop-off service to and from the local train/bus station in Skinnskatteberg.
